This is our color circular featuring our Chevrolet 292 engine to Chevrolet 216 valve cover adapter.
There are two reasons for this, one is you can use the stock or aftermarket polished aluminum valve cover from a 1937-1953 Chevrolet 216 on your 250 or 292 inline six and match the look of the car you are installing the engine.
The second reason is you can install roller rocker arms under the 216 valve cover but not under the 292 valve cover.
Fits Chevy II 194, Pontiac 215, Chevrolet 230, 250, and 292. We also make an adapter to install GMC 270 style valve covers on the same Chevrolet inline six engines.
