Tom & Pam Porter from Round Rock, Texas was
M. I. A. last year (1999) & their truck was on the wall plaques & T-shirts.  He said he would have been there if he knew the truck was in the design for the show, but he was back this year (2000) with an all new leather inside and with a bigger motor and more horse power.  Tom & his partners own a drag strip in Texas

Ken Tucker put his truck in with the other's hoping I would not see it there.  So he could get a door prize or two.  I told him we could not put our trucks in there, it would not look right if we won one of the big door prizes.  He even broke the glass on the big neon clock that Jim Carters truck parts gave us.  Ken Johnson won it & Ken Tucker ask him if he wanted something else instead of that old broken clock - Dream on buddy

The Saturday night party at the host hotel was a kick back & relaxing time with lots of fellowship that went way late into the night.  We had all the cake & ice cream & pop that you wanted.

The ADTA is already working on the 5th Annual ADTA Chevy/GMC Truck Show & Birthday Bash (51 Turns 50 Do You???) set for October 13, 2001.  Ken & I have turned up the fun meter 3 or 4 more notches.  Twice the fun then last year.  Check out the website.  There is a game on there you can get started on as soon as you read it.  The game ends at the show.  Good luck on your hunt.  Be There or Be Square.  Also go check out our fight for the kid's plug the meter for a cancer cure.
